lyrics
I've never been that good at recycling
Sometimes I shove it all into the same bin
I find meat substitutes, they're just not the same thing
I've got running shoes made by Nike
But baby I.. ever since I met you
When I'm in a restaurant and I'm looking at the menu
I find I'm noticing the options made with tofu
And wondering what I could cook that you might like
And I'll learn to live
Without artificial addtives
If I could be
The one who brings you tea in the morning
Then I'll make it dairy free
If it was me
That got to make your tea in the morning
Then Alpro's fine by me
And darling, if you let me, I'll
Walk you down the Free From aisle
I'd give it all to make you smile if you'd agree
That I can be
The one that makes your tea
It's true that I, I'm a barbecue enjoyer
And I slag off nut roasts sometimes, just to annoy you
But if the only milk I ever got to drink was soya
It would be worth it all to share your fridge
And come what may.... the winters and the summers
I know the hard times will never overcome us
And to work hard to always keep you in houmous
Would be my lifelong privilege
Oh I'll learn to live without artificial additives
There's nothing I wouldn't give
If I could be
The one who brings you tea in the morning
Then I'll make it dairy free
If it was me
That got to make your tea in the morning
Then Alpro's fine by me
And darling, if you let me, I'll
Get a solar panel trial
I'd give it all to make you smile if you'd agree
That I can be
The one that makes your tea
Now in this life
We face some stormy weather
But if you should decide that we could get rained on together
I could do it all without ever buying leather
And only fair trade jeans upon my legs
It's true that I
I've got a heavy dairy intake
And I'm probably not ever gonna give up steak
But if I could be the one who makes your Sunday pancakes
I'll learn how to do it without the eggs
I'll learn to live without artificial additives
If I can start
To win your artichoke heart
Then I could be
The one who brings you tea in the morning
Then I'll make it dairy free
If it was me
That got to make your tea in the morning
Then Alpro's fine by me
And darling, if you let me, I'll
Walk you down that Free From aisle
I'd give it all to make you smile if you'd agree
I'd be the best me I could ever be
If I could be
The one that makes your tea

This has been a hard year as a social worker I recognise that I am not facing the reality of the saving of lives and I despair at how the government have treated our nhs people. I have been responding to the needs and crisis faced by children and young people in care . Carers with health vulnerability with challenging teens who won’t follow the rules- risks there create anxiety, carers of children who have been abused and traumatised- limited services - songs like this keep me going thanks maureenb

the album has thoughtful lyrics beautiful tunes and ends with my favourite tract a bar at the end of the world ... every track flows nicely to the next love it all marian holding
Turbulent indie rock from Levi Fuller & the Library that has the snarl of hardcore and the knotty meter of math rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 13, 2018
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023

Great album. Almost a blend of Old Style and New Style Gaz. Delighted to have seen him perform two of the tracks live at Glastonbury. His performance was better than ever, and the songs are right up there with his best. matsan66
